Pouch Project 2

This tutorial was posted back in 2006 on twelve22.org so I'm sure lots of people already know about it, but I'm just getting around to it.  I love the first pouch I made, but I wanted to try one with a different shape. I followed Anna's tutorial and added a layer of light-medium interfacing to each piece of fabric. I had originally planned to use two sheets of heavy interfacing, but I didn't plan it right.

Here is my outcome:

I love it a lot! I think it's just the right size to be convenient but also useful. The finish is great with no raw edges which makes it look "expensive."  Thumbs up.

I have also fallen in love with the zipper foot on my sewing machine.
Now I know what all the fuss is about!
